View DatesCriccieth lies on the south coast of the Llyn Peninsula, where the edge of Snowdonia National Park meets the sea, with spectacular views over Cardigan Bay. The medieval castle, originally Welsh but later taken and reinforced by the Normans, dominates the town. The castle headland divides the seafront into two with a pebbly bay to the west and a sheltered mainly sandy bay to the east. We enjoy two nights half board accommodation at the centrally based 3 star George IV hotel with a half price bar, a half day excursion to Portmeirion, we also visit Barmouth & Llandundo - a lovely Springtime break by the sea!
Portmeirion
Portmeirion is a vibrant, Italian-inspired village on the North Wales coast, full of colorful buildings, winding streets, and lush gardens. With stunning estuary views and whimsical architecture at every turn, it feels like a storybook brought to life. Famous as the filming location of The Prisoner, its a magical blend of history, art, and seaside charm.

We visit Barmouth, where rugged coastline meets quaint charm. Nestled on the stunning shores of Cardigan Bay, Barmouth welcomes all with its panoramic views, golden sands, and rich maritime heritage.
We explore this gem of North Wales, renowned for its bustling harbour, historic streets and vibrant local culture, with charming boutiques and cafes, Barmouth offers something for everyone!
Llandudno
Llandudno, the Queen of Welsh Resorts, with its sandy beaches, Victorian pier, and scenic promenade. Stroll beneath the Great Orme and enjoy a perfect blend of seaside charm, shopping, and coastal views.
Friday
We depart our local departure points and commence our journey to Criccieth, with a comfort stop en route we then enjoy some free time in Barmouth, prior to checking into our hotel, with time to relax - or enjoy a drink from the HALF PRICE BAR prior to our evening meal and entertainment.
Saturday
Following breakfast we depart at 9.30am and travel the short distance to Portmeirion where you will have time to explore at leisure, we return via Porthmaddog before arriving back in Criccieth with time to relax before our evening meal. Entertainment follows our evening meal.
Sunday
We enjoy our final breakfast before departing our hotel at 9.30am. We stop in Llandudno for free time giving you time to explore, stretch your legs & have some lunch prior to commencing our journey home. Itinerary subject to change at drivers discretion.
