Westport Six Day Break

Our main base is picturesque Westport on Irelands West Coast on the edge of Clew Bay. Surrounded by magnificent scenery, Westport is a town on the edge of an Atlantic inlet. In the Georgian town centre, stone bridges link the tree-lined promenade on the banks of the Carrowbeg River.

We have our first night at the 4 Star Talbot Hotel near Dublin, 3 nights at the 4 star Castlecourt Hotel, Westport and our final night is at the four star Trim Hotel in Trim, a designated heritage town renowned as one of Irelands most beautiful towns and believed to have more medieval buildings than any town in Ireland.

• Visit to Carrick on Shannon
• A day excursion around Magical Mayo, Achill Island and the scenic Atlantic Way.
• A scenic drive to Connemara, visiting Kylemore Abbey – a neo-gothic castle mirrored in its own lake.
• A picturesque cruise on the sheltered waters of Killary Harbour  a stunning fjord in the west of Ireland in the heart of Connemara.
• Free time in Trim
