Day 1 Friday

Following our local departures we make our way to Babbacombe, with comfort stops en route to arrive with time to relax before our evening meal.

Day 2 Saturday

Following breakfast this morning we depart for an excursion to Totness. The town's narrow streets are lined with unique boutiques, art galleries, wholefood cafés, and the popular weekly market offering everything from handmade crafts to vintage finds. Totnes Castle, a classic Norman motte and bailey fortress, overlooks the town, while the scenic riverside offers peaceful walks. We return to our hotel with time to relax prior to our evening meal & entertainment.

Day 3 Sunday

A day at leisure to spend how you like. Babbacombe offers a mix of charm, history & seaside vibes. Top attractions include the Babbacombe Model Village with its detailed miniature scenes, the Babbacombe Cliff Railway - a 1920s funicular that links the clifftop to Oddicombe Beach. You could visit Bygones, a nostalgic museum recreating Victorian life, or enjoy the peace of Tessier Gardens, an adults-only park filled with flowers and wildlife. Alternatively you could spend the day in nearby Torquay - the choice is yours!

Day 4 Monday

We say a sad goodbye to Babbacombe this morning as we make our way back to Leeds, don't worry though we'll be back in March 2026!

Our half board accommodation at The Babbacombe Hotel offers en suite accommodation to all rooms, with walk in showers, tea/coffee making facilities and digital flat screen TV's. The hotel has a modern passenger lift to most bedrooms, although some steps may be involved and 8 ground floor bedrooms.

The lift in the hotel only services the 1st and 2nd floor, there are then 14 steps to the third floor. Should you wish to pay extra for a twin/double sea view/balcony room (subject to availability), please be aware that these rooms are located above the Show Bar and you will hear music, therefore not suitable for those who retire early.

Access to all single rooms is with a minimum of three - maximum of six stairs. Please advise on booking if you have mobility problems so we can advise accordingly.
